Hey there,
I AM WORKING TO BECOME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF CONNECTION.
It is connection that keeps us grounded and helps us to learn what’s true for ourselves and true for the world around us. Connection can empower us and remind us of what’s good. In our work together, my hope is to provide space for this connection – an hour in your week to chat about life and what it’s like to be you. Perhaps we will practice skills to facilitate values focused living. Or perhaps we will explore the different identities you hold and how they shape your world. Whatever you’re walking in with, we’ll face it together.
My approach is relationally-focused and prioritizes collaboration. I work with adults seeking support with gender identity, sexuality, neurodivergence, OCD, college life, existentialism and other issues. I pull ideas from trauma-informed care, mindfulness, radical acceptance, Internal Family Systems, and an anti-oppressive, non-pathologizing lens. I am a queer, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-affirming individual who believes emotional, physical, and sexual health are all worth talking about.
Outside of therapy you will probably find me with friends playing board games or sharing a meal, hangin’ out with my dog, reading, or playing volleyball.
Education: Currently completing a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan
