Hey there,
I AM BECOMING A THERAPIST BECAUSE I KNOW HOW IMPORTANT IT CAN BE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TO HAVE A SAFE PERSON TO TALK WITH, THAT HOLD NO JUDGMENT, AND WHO THEY CAN BE THEIR MOST AUTHENTIC SELF WITH.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults working through childhood trauma, ADHD/autism from a neurodivergent-affirming lens, grief/loss, divorce, life transitions, eating disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety, and depression.
I utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy, while also utilizing holistic and strength based approaches in order to meet my client’s needs. My goal is to be a supportive resource for each of my clients, tailoring treatment to reflect their hopes for treatment in a safe and collaborative way, working to foster empowerment and resilience.
Outside of school and working, I love to spend time with my two dogs, Smash and Phoenix, and my cat, Coffee Bean. I enjoy hiking, baking, crafting, and whatever activity I feel like learning next.
Education: I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) from Wayne State University and I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at Michigan State University and will graduate in May of 2026.
