Hey There,

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE ALL PEOPLE ARE FUNDAMENTALLY GOOD, WITH DIFFERENCES WORTH CELEBRATING, AND THAT EVERYONE HAS THE CAPACITY FOR MEANINGFUL GROWTH.

My approach is conversational and genuine - I believe therapy works best when it feels natural rather than clinical. I'm committed to anti-oppressive practice in all my work. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable opening up quickly because they know they'll be met with radical empathy, not judgment.

I work with folks struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and life's bigger questions about meaning and purpose. I also support parents navigating parenting challenges and couples working on their relationships during times of transition.

Our work will draw from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), humanistic/person-centered approaches, and Gottman Method couples therapy, along with other approaches that fit your specific situation. My experience also includes work in restorative justice, which informs my collaborative approach to healing and growth.

When I'm not working, you can find me reading (I love books!), listening to music, and spending unstructured time with my partner and three daughters, enjoying whatever silly games my teenagers come up with. We love our quiet time at home and watching the amazing wildlife in our backyard.

I'm continually moved by people's courage to show up authentically and share their most vulnerable experiences. It's a profound honor to witness someone's journey toward growth and self-acceptance, especially in a world that often requires that we alienate our true selves. I believe deeply in every person's inherent worth and capacity for change, and I'm grateful to do work that allows me to walk alongside people as they discover their own paths forward.

Education: I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and my Master's degree in Social Work from Wayne State University.
