Hey there,
I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I GENUINELY BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE DESERVES A SPACE WHERE THEY FEEL HEARD, VALUED, AND ACCEPTED WITHOUT JUDGMENT SO THEY CAN BEGIN THE JOURNEY OF HEALING AND SELF-DISCOVERY.
Seeking counseling is a courageous and empowering step, one that may feel daunting at first but often leads to meaningful growth and healing. As a clinical psychologist, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and honest space where I can work collaboratively with my clients to navigate life’s challenges and support their journey toward wellness. I am deeply passionate about helping others and strive to ensure that each person I work with feels seen, heard, and empowered.
My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I value each client’s individuality and honor the complexity of their personal, familial, developmental, and cultural experiences. My treatment approach is integrative and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Process Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused approaches.
I provide individual therapy for adolescents, college students, and adults across the lifespan. I work with a broad range of concerns, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and familial stress, life transitions, adjusting to college, race-related stress, and self-esteem concerns. I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds for over 15 years in a variety of settings, including private practice, university counseling centers, schools, and hospitals.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to audiobooks, visiting parks, and watching Netflix.
Education: I earned both my doctoral and master’s degrees from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University’s Tampa Campus (American Psychological Association accredited).
