Hey There,
I BECAME A THERAPIST TO CREATE A SAFE SPACE WHERE PEOPLE FEEL SEEN, HEARD, AND EMPOWERED TO NAVIGATE THEIR EXPERIENCE WITHOUT JUDGMENT.
I believe that each person has a unique place in this world—and that therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore your potential and build the life you want. I'm committed to working collaboratively with you, whether you're seeking practical coping skills, emotional support, or a deeper understanding of yourself.
I primarily work with children, teens, and young adults, and have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, school-related challenges, family conflict, stress, and life transitions. As the mother of a child with a complex medical condition, I understand the emotional toll of caregiving and the importance of helping children learn to advocate for themselves. That lived experience informs my work and deepens my empathy.
I practice from a strengths-based perspective and incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to support clients in meeting their goals.
In addition to my work at Rooted, I serve as a school social worker, helping students become the best version of themselves and work through challenges they face in the school environment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four kids. I also love curling up with a good book, binge-watching Netflix, or hanging out with our dogs—one of whom, Sadie, joins me at school as an educational comfort dog.
Education: I received my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University.
