Hey there,
I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE COLLECTIVE LIBERATION BEGINS WITH LIBERATING YOURSELF.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe(r) space for you to feel comfortable being and becoming your true and best self. I hope to foster a space in which you feel safe to share the good, the bad, laughter, tears, and everything in between because it’s what you deserve. Therapy can be intimidating and vulnerable at times, and I am here to meet you with compassion, warmth, and curiosity every step of the way.
I am a queer-affirming, culturally-affirming therapist who works with teens and adults navigating gender or sexual identity exploration, trauma, including intergenerational or historical trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity and many other challenges. I value your lived experience and your ability to show up for yourself, especially in a world that hasn’t always shown up for you. My practice is rooted in honoring your full identity and creating room for healing that is both personal and collective.
In our work together, I will pull from several modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to provide a person centered, therapeutic experience. My work is also influenced anti-racist, systems-focused, trauma-informed, decolonial, and abolitionist perspectives. Most importantly, therapy is collaborative; you are the expert of your experience and I am honored and excited to join you on your journey of healing, growth, and discovery!
Education: I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2023 and my master’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2025. I plan to further my education (formally and informally) to provide the best therapy possible!
